Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Taash Baithak website and the Taash Baithak Android app (package com.taashbaithak.app), which opens the same website. Taash Baithak is run by Sami Ullah, Faisalabad, Pakistan.
The short version
- No accounts, no sign-up, no ads and no tracking or analytics.
- We do not sell or share personal data.
- The microphone is used only for voice chat, only after you tap Join voice chat, and voice is never recorded or stored.
What stays on your device
Your chosen name, avatar and settings (bot speed, animations, last game code) are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device so you don't have to type them again. You can clear them any time by clearing the app's or site's data.
Playing online with friends
When you create or join an online game, your typed name, avatar choice, game moves and emoji reactions are sent to the other players at your table through public relay servers (HiveMQ, EMQX and Eclipse Mosquitto public MQTT brokers, and the PeerJS connection service). These messages are only used to run the game and are not stored by us. Anyone who has your 4-letter game code can join that game, so share it only with people you want to play with.
Voice chat and the microphone
Voice chat is optional. When you turn it on, your device asks for microphone permission. Your voice goes directly to the other players at your table, or, if a direct connection is not possible, through the same relay servers. Noise removal runs on your own device. Voice is not recorded, saved or analysed. Turn voice chat off at any time with the mute or leave button, or remove the microphone permission in your phone's settings.
Bot games
Games against the computer run entirely on your device and send nothing anywhere.
Other services
The website is hosted on Cloudflare, which receives your IP address as part of delivering the pages, under its own privacy policy. Fonts and all other files are served from taashbaithak.com itself.
Children
Taash Baithak is a general card game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
