Bhabhi Thulla, also called Getaway, Bhabhi or Thulla, is a popular card game across Pakistan and India. The goal is simple: get rid of all your cards. The last player still holding cards is the Bhabhi. On Taash Baithak you can play it free with 3 to 8 players.
Bhabhi card game rules in English
- Deal all 52 cards between the players. Whoever has the Ace of Spades (A♠) starts by playing it.
- Seats are shuffled for every new game. Play goes anti-clockwise, to the right. You must follow the suit that was led if you have it.
- If everyone follows suit, the trick is thrown away and the player with the highest card leads next. Aces are high.
- If you can't follow suit, play any card. That is a thulla: the trick stops, and the player who played the highest card of the led suit picks up all the cards in the trick.
- No thulla in the first round: a player without spades just throws a card away.
- Empty your hand to get away. The last player left with cards is the Bhabhi.
House rules in this version
- On your turn (after the first round) you can take all of the next player's cards. They get away immediately.
- You can accept defeat at any time and become the Bhabhi.
- Last-card trap: this only applies when two players are left. If your very last card wins the trick, you can't get away yet. You draw one of your opponent's cards face down and must lead it. If they have no card of that suit, they get away and you are the Bhabhi. If they play a lower card of that suit, the trick is thrown away and you draw again. If they play a higher card of that suit, you get away and they are the Bhabhi.
How to play Bhabhi Thulla online with friends
- Open taashbaithak.com on your phone or PC and choose Getaway (Bhabhi Thulla).
- Tap Play with a friend online, type your name and tap Create a game.
- Send the 4-letter code or the invite link to your friends, for example on WhatsApp.
- Your friends open the link, type their name and tap Join game.
- Not enough friends? Fill the empty seats with bots and start.
- Tap Join voice chat to talk while you play, and use the emoji button to react or throw a tomato at someone.
Bhabhi Thulla tips and tricks
- Remember who has run out of a suit. Leading that suit invites a thulla.
- When you can't win a trick safely, play just under the highest card.
- If you are last to play and everyone followed, it's a safe moment to drop your biggest card.
- When you play a thulla, throw your most dangerous high card.

- تمام باون پتے کھلاڑیوں میں بانٹ دیے جاتے ہیں۔ جس کے پاس حکم کا یکّہ ہو، وہ اسی سے پہلی چال چلتا ہے۔
- جو رنگ چلا گیا ہو، اگر آپ کے پاس ہے تو وہی کھیلنا لازمی ہے۔ سب نے وہی رنگ کھیلا تو پتے ایک طرف رکھ دیے جاتے ہیں اور سب سے بڑا پتہ کھیلنے والا اگلی چال چلتا ہے۔
